It worked for Kathy Griffin - so can outrageous comedian Margaret Cho use the reality-show format to pump up her career? Cho apparently has watched "My Life on the D List" a little too closely because this show mirrors Griffin's show, right down to her posse of gay pals and her square parents. This Cho-focused series follows the comic through her daily adventures, accompanied by a dwarf assistant (really!). The funniest thing here is observing Cho with her traditional mom, then watching Cho imitate her mom. And Cho isn't afraid to cross lines: Trying to figure out what to wear to receive an award, she actually considers going naked with her dress painted on - and gives viewers a quick look. Still, how many reality shows about insecure second-rung female comics can TV handle?
