Jennie Garth: Tori Spelling Deserves Equal Pay
The fans aren't the only ones disappointed that Beverly Hills, 90210 veteran Tori Spelling won't be appearing in the spin-off. Her friend and former costar Jennie Garth, who is appearing in the CW series, says she was also disappointed to hear the news.
Jennie told EW.com that she was disappointed by reports that Tori dropped out of 90210 when she wasn't offered as much as Jennie and fellow former costar Shannen Doherty.
"[The press thinks] we're at war over salary with Tori," Jennie told the Web site. "I didn't know I was at war with Tori. I'm really bummed because I love Tori and I was psyched Tori was going to be on the show. I think she should definitely get paid as much as either of us is getting paid. Her father created the show. It just seems wrong if that's the case."
Tori reportedly dropped out because she was only being paid $10,000-$20,000 an episode compared to Jennie and Shannen's $35,000-$50,000 an episode. However, Shannen tells the site those numbers aren't accurate.
"They didn't even get the numbers right," Shannen told EW.com, "so I don't know if it's about the money either."

I THINK TORI deserves the same pay as JENNIE and SHANNEN, THEY all was on the same show TORI's father created and if he was alive he would offer them all the same salary for coming back after all these years.

I guess her dad had a right to leave his money to whomever he wanted BUT in my opinion he shortchanged a girl who seems like someone he should have been very proud of and looked after her a little more in his passing. She isn't afraid of work an I have a feeling she will do just fien. I think she is a very good actress.

SHE LACKED REAL TALENT, WHILE JENNIE AND SHANNON (HOT TEMPERED OR NOT) HAVE GONE ON TO DO OTHER THINGS AND TO ME HAVE PROVEN THEMSELVES AS ACTRESS WITHOUT THEIR DADDY'S HELP. This is one of the dumbest things that I have heard yet...are you kidding me? Is Tori Spelling really that much of a greedy person that she must drop out of something that made her famous in the first place? I can't believe that she's going to throw a fit over something like this when there are other people out there that are way more less fortunate then her! What more can she possibly need?

i think tori should get paid the same, as the other two. the show was created from her father. im disappointed, the loved the orginal show watched every week. i will probably watch the first show to see how it is. but i most likey wont like it cause it will not continue with the orginal cast, which made 90210 a hit.

Tori Spelling should get more or the same money as the other two stars. I will not watch the show if Tori is not in it. I think she is great and would add so much to the show. Please do what ever you need to do to get her back. She is a great additon to makeing the show much better do not let her go.

yes I will watch and Donna Martin was NOT one of the top characters of the show. I am pretty sure she is doing okay with money so who needs the drama. I know Jennie has been on numerous shows and in the public eye so I tink she deserves more than Tori & SHannen whom we have NOT seen forever.
