Christian Slater plays a secret agent who has a split personality - and doesn't know it. His alter-ego has been programmed into him by the government, which has implanted a normal family-man persona in his brain for him to use as a cover. But they electronically trigger his killer side when they need him. The problems start when the other guy starts waking up at the wrong time, putting the mild-mannered version into dangerous situations. It's a terrific set-up and the always edgy Slater is believable as the psyche-shifting guy who never quite knows where he is. This one will be easy to get hooked on.
