Jennifer Lopez on Babies, Nannies and Getting Fit
Six months after giving birth to twins, Jennifer Lopez is back in the saddle — a bike saddle.
On Sept. 14, the new mom will bike, swim and run in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon — for charity, of course — so she took to the airwaves on Good Morning America earlier today to talk about getting fit as well as life as a mom.
Mrs. Marc Anthony said the idea for the triathlon came to her before the babies, Max and Emme, even arrived.
"It actually came up when I was about 8 months pregnant and I was beached like a whale," the new mom told GMA's Chris Cuomo. "I was watching TV and I saw a triathlon and I said, 'You know what? I think I could do that, that would be great for me to do. Maybe I'll do it this year.'"
As for life with twins, the actress/singer/designer says it couldn't be better.
"They're amazing," J.Lo told the morning show. "They're sleeping through the night. They go to bed around 9, 9:30 and get up around 6:30, 7."
So far, Jennifer has been a hands-on mom because her nanny quit soon after the babies were born.
"We actually just tried [a new nanny] out last week ... because I'm going to go back to work to do a film later in the year," Jennifer said. "But we've been doing it by ourselves and we love it. It's been awesome."

Sarah I don't think anyone is downplaying celebs that parent themselves. It's the ones that yell at the top of their lungs from the beginning that "they parent the kids themselves" like J LO to find out her nanny quit awhile ago. She's been saying since the twins birth that it's all them. Then you had no nanny to quit how did she.
