Family Feud Over Heath Ledger's Will
Heath Ledger can't possibly be resting in peace. The late actor's will was revealed over the weekend and, according to reports, it's causing a family feud among the Ledger family. Heath's three-page will — which was written three years before his daughter Matilda was born — left his entire estate to his parents and sister. Shooting down rumors that meant Matilda wouldn't be taken care of financially, Heath's father, Kim Ledger, released a statement promising that both Matilda and her mother, Michelle Williams, wouldn't be forgotten from Heath's estate. The situation seemed like it was resolved until yesterday when Kim's estranged brothers — Heath's uncles Mike and Haydn Ledger — went public to say that Heath's dad isn't to be trusted with finances. They accused Kim of mismanaging their late father's estate back in 1994 — to the tune of $2.5 million — and worried it would happen again with Heath's fortune. Shocked by his brothers' accusations, Kim hit back yesterday — adding that they have no right to discuss the matters publicly. "It is sad at this extremely difficult time in our lives, while we are grieving the loss of our beloved son, that estranged family members publicly discuss matters they have not been privy to in the past or now," Kim said in a statement. "We hope for Matilda's sake they will remain dignified." Heath died of an accidental prescription drug overdose on January 22.

With Heath Ledger being deceased, for his family to not think of his daughter is just unthinkable. It's a tragedy that this little girl will grow up without her Father. The fact that he had not changed his will is something that as most young people, he just forgot. He was a loving Father and would want his daughter to be the one who gets his estate. For his family to not do as they know he would want is the burden they have chose to bear. It's a burden I would not want to carry on my shoulders. Who are they thinking of, not their grand-daughter. We can see that! Shame on them!

I think his uncles should just shut the fuck up. They probably just want a piece of the money and are pissed that they cant get their hands on it! So now they have to make up vicious lies in the wake of his death!

I think the family should give the entire estate to Matilda. That is what Heath would have wanted. Looks to me like they really don't need the money anyway.
